Hold the Salt

So much has been going on in the last week and I have been dying to write about it but in fear of posting something I would later regret, I forced myself to stay away from my computer. I still am not ready to fully disclose everything yet, but please stay tuned. I have great news in the works and hopefully in the next week I will be able to unveil my secrets.

I have always been a firm believer that everything happens for a reason but I am also not one to stand by and let my life be ruled by fate. I believe you must be aware of your surroundings and help fate along. This last week has been a perfect example of this.

You know the saying, "When life gives you lemons..." I couldn't agree more, but I think you need to have your kitchen stocked with the ingredients for making a killer lemonade recipe so when fate decides to send the fruit delivery your way, you don't have to make a trip to the store. This is what happened to me and I turned my lemons into a fabulous margarita!

What's next? Those are the details I should be able to share soon, but in the mean time Pete and I are thinking this is the perfect opportunity to surprise the kids with a trip. Maybe Disney World, maybe the beach, definitely someplace warm.
